"Rashaan is the definition of a class act. My wife and I met Rashaan when we were still dating. I was reffered to him by our pastor with glowing reviews.
The first thing Rashaan said to us was “We can be friends before and after the homebuying process. But while I am your realtor, my only goal is going to be to get you the best deal possible.”
And boy, did he deliver. Rashaan didn’t once encourage us to go over budget. And we set a tight budget. About half of what we could technically afford. He didn’t once pressure us into buying something we weren’t sure on to get the sale done. He always picked up the phone. I think I heard his voicemail message once for the whole 4 months it took for us to find the perfect home.
Rashaan gave us his honest opinion on everything we saw. Which a few times resulted in us not putting in an offer. His commitment to our financial well being was unparralleled.
Closing on the house we bought posed significant challenges, as the seller did not pull permits for most of the work involved. It resulted in a stop work order put on the property. We had to sign 6 seperate addendums to finally close. Rashaan was with us every step of the way. He never faltered, and never encouraged us to give up on holding the seller to the agreement they signed.
Not only this, but my bank also was not communicating well with us. One call from Rashaan fixed that overnight.
This showed at closing. Where he was able to negotiate so many seller concessions that our closing amount was in the negative. It was the first time our title agency had ever seen a negative number for closing costs. It was the first time my loan officer, customer service specialist, and his manager at the bank had ever seen something like that.
In this market... unbelievable.
